Monday Afterschool Baseball

After school baseball games every Monday on the beautiful Pier 40 courtyard fields (weather permitting), and plenty of baseball instruction at our Pier 40 indoor facility. This is a popular program for 6 - 12 year olds with limited space so please sign up early. Drop-off at Pier 40 between 3:15 and 4:00 PM. Pick-up from 5:45 - 6:00 PM. Transportation is available from the following schools: PS 3, PS 11, PS 41, PS 89, PS 234, Friends, Corlears, and VCS. Register separately for "Monday After School Transporation." Transportation opportunities may be available from other schools if enough children from a school are registered.

Wednesday Afterschool Baseball

Indoor and outdoor baseball instruction at Pier 40 with our professional coaching staff with games subject to field availability. This is a popular program for 6 - 12 year olds with limited space so please sign up early. Drop off at Pier 40 begins at 3:15 PM, and pick up is from 5:45 - 6:00 PM.

Winter session - Wed, Dec 02, 2009 - Wed, Feb 24, 2010 $300.00 This session has started. (Days: 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 2/24)

Afterschool Transportation

Children are picked up at school and brought to Pier 40 in vans operated by Kid Car NY. Normally, only students in the following schools are eligible: PS 3, PS 11, PS 41, PS 89, PS 234, Friends, Corlears, and VCS. Other schools will be added if four or more children from the school plan to enroll.

Private Lesson Agreement

Enrollment adds your child to a list authorizing coaches employed by Pier Park & Playground Association (P3) to arrange with you for private lessons for your child. By enrolling you acknowledge your understanding that any agreement for such lessons is exclusively an arrangement between you and the coach who is acting as an independent contractor and that the coach will not be working for P3 and that P3 is not responsible for the actions of the coach or any other party during such lesson or during any period immediately before or after such lessons. You further acknowledge that during such periods your child will be under your sole supervision and you assume all risk for any harm or damage that may occur and that you specifically hold harmless P3, the Hudson River Park Trust, and the City and State of New York. You further acknowledge that any payments for lessons are based on an arrangement solely between you and the coach and that you understand that P3 receives no compensation for the use of its facility or property during such period. Finally, you agree that you will not request access or use of the facility by any person other than your child and yourself.

High School

Get ready for your High School season. Tuesday 4:00 pm to 5:45 pm Thursday: Session 1 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm and Session 2 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Need to make your HS team or win a starting position or just want to improve on your Hitting, Fielding, Pitching, well this is the right place to make yourself a better player.

Advanced Baseball 13/15

This program is for players 13 through 15 getting ready to play Middle School, JV or want to make a Varsity team. The program is designed to improve your Hitting, Fielding, Pitching, Catching and Speed. So get. We will start at 6 and end at 8 so get your homework done early, pick up a glove, and come down to the pier ready for hard work on position fundamentals and individual skills.

President's Week Camp

Get ready for your little league season at our spring training camp, starting February 16. Sign up for one day or sign up for all four days. Drop off is between 8:30 and 9:30 A.M. Pick up, from 3:30 to 5:00 P.M. Boys and girls, 6-12, have fun learning baseball. Bring your hat and glove. Pizza is on us.
